Rooms:
All dwellings incorporate the same comforts and luxury, although they differ in size and layout.
On the ground floor, there is a fully-equipped constructed-in kitchen with
oven, ceramic stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, small electric sweeper, pressure cooker and a whole line of well-known kitchen items and top quality dinner service.
The dining room features a large table made of wood and marble and hand-made engraved chairs.
After dinner, relax in the sitting room with fireplace, TV, DVD player, stereo, telephone and double or triple couch with orthopaedic mattresses, which easily converts to 2 single or one double bed.
Upstairs there is a bedroom with double bed with orthopaedic mattress, toilet, mirror, wardrobe, screen, full-length mirror, iron, ironing board and telephone.
The bathroom with shower also has a washing machine, washer-dryer and hairdryer.
All dwellings have at least one independent courtyard or veranda and balcony with traditional outdoor furniture.
Apart from the fireplace, all dwellings have air conditioning on both floors and hot water from solar and electric water heater.
All furniture is hand-made, carved made from beech. The linen draperies are embroidered and of top quality while the quilts and pillows are feather.
Eating:
All the villas have a fully equipped kitchen with a complete set of cutlery and cookware.
For a charge, visitors can also pre-order a range of food items and drinks to be placed in their villa upon arrival. The property will happily purchase anything extra you think you will need in your villa for your first couple of days stay.
Samonas has a small store on-site, selling everything from home-made sweets, soft and alcoholic drinks, including a wide selection of Greek wines, juices and much more, all Cretan, Greek or organic products. Books, CDs of Greek music and DVDs are all also available.
Region:
Apokoronas Prefecture is well known for its hospitable inhabitants, its magnificent traditional villages and its exclusive natural loveliness. It is worth visiting all the villages, since each one has its own particular colour, traditions, folkways and history.
The nearest coast in Kalyves is located at a distance of 12 kilometers, while you may also visit the coast of Almyrida (14 kilometers) and Georgioupoli (30 kilometers), all clean and awarded with the blue flags.
You may visit Stylos springs, walk along rivers Kiliaris, Xydias or Almyros, marvel the biotope of Georgioupoli and the exclusive Kourna Lake found in Crete.
If you prefer the mountain, there are also many trails to follow. From Kares you will ascend the small stone-constructed structures of shepherds at location Gournes.
From Kambi you may start for the Volika refuge at an altitude of 1450 m where the only access is by foot, or Psychro Pigadi, a location with a view virtually to the whole north part of the prefecture.
The gorge of Diktamos, 10 kilometers long, is stunning. Inside the other very near gorge of the region the Ramni-Macheri you will come across the Byzantine church of Agios Nikolaos as well as of Agios Mamas. Other Byzantine monuments include the castle, Panagia Serviotissa near Stylos, Agios Ioannis Theologos, the monastery of Agios Georgios in Karydi.
It would be an omission not to visit Aptera, with remains from the ancient, Byzantine and Roman eras.
The Minoan tombs in the same region are also impressive.
In the entire region there are more than 200 caves, the nearest Samonas cave located next to our settlement as well as the church of Agios Samonas.
However, Chania and Crete are not limited here. Maybe all these are just a small, good start. Going around the region you will come across hospitable coffee houses and magnificent taverns with traditional Cretan cuisine.
No matter your choice eventually, the only thing certain is that you will be delighted with all your senses. We wish its recollection will bring you back soon to us.

Thalassa House Apartments
Important:
Offering a superb view of the bay of Plakias and the Libyan Sea, this small, contemporary and comfortable property has a relaxing location right on the coast.
A two minute normal pace walk of 5 minutes will take you to the heart of Plakias village, with bars, restaurants and stores. Plakias is a quiet and less touristic place, ideal for a relaxing vacation far from the crowded resorts.
There are many of tavernas and restaurants in Plakias and in the villages around. Here you can expect fresh, tasty Cretan cuisine at low prices.
Free wifi internet connection is available in the entire hotel.
Notes:
If asking for directions to the hotel in Plakias, ask for Horizon Beach Hotel which is the sister hotel of Thalassa House Apartments. Thalassa is a new property and most locals do not yet know where it is located.
Nanakis Beach Luxury Apartments

Our 16 apartments and studios were constructed in 2002 according the latest standards of European Union ,are set on a ground of 10000m² surrounded by sea.In front of the apartments lies a rocky coast ideal for fishing and snorkelling but just 200meters away there is a magnificent sandy coast.
For our younger friends there is a basketball court,a small playground and a special children section in our fresh water swimming pool. In the enclosed region your children can play and move around carefree.We can also offer you with baby bed and baby cot for our younger visitors.
There is a washing machine as well as a barbeque on the premises available for our visitors.
There are three types of apartment .
a. Studio (40 m2)
b. Apartment with 1 bedroom (45 m2)
c. Apartment with 2 bedrooms (60 m2).
All apartments are fully equipped with cuttlery and linen.
All apartments are air conditioned.

The studio type apartment of forty square meters consists of a bedroom separated from the rest of the room with a wall, a large lounge room equipped with one bed sofa and television, a fully equipped kitchen with kitchenette, boiler and coffee machine and one veranda with sea view.
The one bedroom type apartment of forty five square meters consists of a bedroom, a large lounge room equipped with two bed sofas and television, a fully equipped kitchen with kitchenette, boiler and coffee machine and one veranda with sea view.
The two bedroom apartment of sixty square meters consists of two bedrooms- one with double bed and another one with two singles-,a large lounge room equipped with two bed sofas and television, a fully equipped kitchen with oven and two verandas with sea view.
Linen are changed two times per week or more if necessary.
Cleaning lady cleans daily.
All apartments are air conditioned.
The air condition is charged extra EUR 5.00 per day.
Region:
The region of Stavros is only 10 kilometers away of the airport of Chania and provide apart from the 4 coasts lots of outdoor activities, such as water spa amenities, riding school, mountaining and water sports.
"Zorbas the Greek" was filmed at Stavros and one of the Osautomobile award that was given to the movie is kept at at one of the cafes
Stavros coast is awarded with the blue flag every year,
At the same region there also are restaurants and cafés, mini markets, set quietly by the sea and along with the environment, providing luxury along with the quality of quiet vacations.
Directions:
Our apartments are located in Stavros near the airport.
By car:
- Head for the airport and follow signs for Kalathas-Chorafakia-Stavros.
- Shortly after passing Kalathas, you will go through Chorafakia village.
- Follow signs for Stavros which is a further 10 minutes away.
- As you enter Stavros on the asphalt road you will see various signs. Follow
those for Hotel Perle and you will see signs for Nanakis Beach Apartments.

Nanakis coast is located in Stavros,just 14 kilometers from the city of Chania,10 kilometers form the airport and 11 kilometers from Souda port.Our 16 apartments and studios are set on a ground of 10000m² and are surrounded by sea and colourful gardens. Their sizes vary from 40 – 60 m² and are fully equipped to serve the needs of our visitors (fully equipped kitchen, fridge with refrigerator, dining room with sofas and terraces with their own furniture).
