The road labelling, specifically in the interior of island, is often incomplete.

For this reason, the commission of a detailed map is essential. Such maps are available at kiosks and bookstores. Proposed maps are Road Etitions (1/200.000), Euromap (1/250.000), Freytag & Berndt (1/200.000), Athens Publishing (1/200.000,with drawings of archaeological sites) and G. Petrakis (1/100.000,one for each prefecture).
