Directions:
The taxi ride from Chania International Airport to Hotel Alexis takes 25 minutes. If you are arriving by ferryboat from the Port of Souda, the taxi ride takes 10 minutes.
Land travel between Cretan cities:
From Heraklion airport, travellers can take a taxi to the bus terminal (KTEL) in the town. Buses leave there for Chania bus terminal around every hour. Once you have reached Chania bus terminal, you can pick up a taxi to Alexis hotel.
At Heraklion Airport you can easily rent a automobile for your trip to Chania.
By Ferry Boat:
Ferry boats between Athens and Crete are available through Chania, Rethymno or Heraklion, and they accommodate cars on the overnight trip. Ferries depart every evening, from the seaport of Piraeus, and arrive in the Cretan cities the following morning. On the return trip, similar ferry boat schedules are available.
